Gail Hendrix, the Point of It All’s custom needlepoint artist, is known throughout the country for her exceptionally detailed and perfectly painted canvases. Her talent has been recognized by every President and First Lady since Gerald Ford and her work has been featured in the White House. Her custom work is available through the Point of It All shop.
Gail is a native Washingtonian who studied at the Corcoran College of Art and Design. Shortly after graduation, she began working with the American Needlework Center in Georgetown. During her apprenticeship she honed her needlepoint design skills. Ultimately she formed her own company, Festival Designs. She began her long association with the Point of It All in 1981.
